Membership

CNED membership is based on the calendar year Jan 1 to Dec 31.

Benefits of membership include opportunities for professional development, networking, contacts for potential consulting contracts and employment opportunities, sharing of information amongst Yukon economic development professionals and practitioners and listing in CNED Professional Directory.

There is also a Members Only Lunch Series featuring presentations from industry, government and NGOs.

Fee structure and member benefits were determined after conducting a survey of approximately 100 people who were on the CNED newsletter list. Respondents also wanted their organization to organize courses and conferences, provide opportunities for networking and opportunities to share information.

Engage in the Yukon economic development conversation through the Yukon Economic Development Forum on LinkedIn.

Members receive discounts on courses leading to certification, on conferences, and on other CNED activities.

Members are encouraged to bring friends and associates to networking functions and CNED meetings. See Previous Posts for past events and activities.

Aside from benefits to individuals, membership also demonstrates support for CNED and helps the organization develop a strong community of economic development practitioners in Yukon, put on courses, host conferences, and raise the awareness in the Yukon community about what economic developers do.
